Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Station for Agricultural Water Management (SAWCRI) in Chakwal, Pakistan. This trip was an eye-opening experience that highlighted the importance of water management in agriculture, especially in regions facing water scarcity. During my visit, I learned about the various water-saving irrigation techniques and technologies that SAWCRI is researching and promoting. These practices are crucial for farmers to "do more with less" when it comes to water use. Water Management in Agriculture: Doing More With Less Water is the lifeblood of agriculture.
